So here we are in 2006! It’s hard to believe. It seems like yesterday was 1989! Without taking the time to get mushy-gushy and reflective, I am going to charge onward and discuss my plans for 2006.
1. Read more, watch less. I am going to get more read this year, starting with Don Quixote, which I have been working on forever!Okay, not forever, but it seems a little like that.
2. Drink. More. Water. NOW!
3. Do sit ups every night. I do despise exercise, but I don’t want to look like I do, so I will do sit ups. I promise!
4. Learn how to knit a little beanie for a baby. I just learned how to knit and how to purl. I am still very much a beginner, but I want to know how to make a hat.
5. Play a game with my kids at least once a week. I am not a game player, but they love it, so I resolve to be a playful mom.
Well, there it is. No grand schemes, but just some simple things I hope will make my life a bit healthier, my family a bit happier, and my mind a bit smarter.
