Today was Cabe’s second to last baseball game of the season, and the last game to fall on a Saturday, so it was the Baseball Team Party Day. My sweet son always looks forward to this party because there is good food, and all the kids get their season trophies. Today was no different from past parties…the kids splashed in the pool, the grown-ups chatted, and I got sunburned. What is it about B.T.P.D. that means I always get sunburned? I think I will blame it on my distraction in getting everyone and everything we need to the party.
