What is it with August? The calendar flips over to August. I look at the date-August 1-and I think about how much time is left in the summer. Then it seems like I turn around and it is August 25! How does it go so quick?
Lest you think all I did was stand in front of the calendar, we did spend the first week of August camping, followed by a couple of weeks full of finishing-up-the-summer/launching-the-school-year activities for high school group at church; and (deep breath) began schooling here at home. This last one is a biggie for me as I am officially schooling 3 for the first time-my little one is a kindergartner. She turned 5 on Monday, so I guess we are officially out of the baby season of life!
Quick Update-Thanks to all who shared such kind words regarding my sweet nephews. At this point we are doing our best to love and support these boys. They have started the school year, and thankfully they were able to return to the same school they have always attended.
Well, I am off to enjoy a little downtime! Thanks for stopping by!
