Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving thanks.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
1. I am so thankful for a husband and children that love the Lord.
2. I am grateful for our warm house and full pantry-we are blessed so far beyond our needs.
3. I am grateful for the health of our little family. Apart from the occasional tummy bug or cold, we have been healthy.
4. I am grateful for good friends.
5. I am grateful for the increasing ease with which I am getting up in the morning before the kids.
So funny- I was planning to write a blog today called “Thankful Thursday” today, too. I was planning it out in my head, then completely forgot!
Maybe we should make it a weekly thing?
I definitely think we should make this weekly. Making thankful lists helps me to keep my right focus on gratitude to the One who takes such good care of me.
